Vermon is proud to announce that it has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal 2025 for the second consecutive year, recognizing the strength, consistency and maturity of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy.
Awarded by EcoVadis, a global reference in sustainability assessments, this distinction places Vermon among the top 5% of companies worldwide evaluated on environmental, social, ethical and responsible procurement criteria.
A CSR strategy structured around four key pillars
Vermon’s CSR approach is built around four complementary pillars that are fully integrated into its operations and governance.
Being a “Good Place to Work”
Employee well-being, safety and inclusion are central to Vermon’s social commitments. In 2024, 100% of new employees received safety training, and the company maintained a high professional gender equality index of 93/100. Vermon also promotes long-term employment, with over 97% of employees on permanent contracts, reflecting a stable and engaging work environment.
Developing ethical and sustainable business practices
Ethics and responsibility guide Vermon’s business conduct and supplier relationships. Responsible purchasing criteria are increasingly embedded across the supply chain. In parallel, the majority of strategic suppliers are now assessed on CSR criteria, reinforcing transparency and continuous improvement.
Contributing to better healthcare for all
Innovation is at the core of Vermon’s contribution to health and safety. The company actively collaborates with research centers, hospitals and industrial partners, participating in multiple collaborative projects and producing a growing number of scientific publications each year. These efforts support the development of more reliable diagnostic solutions that benefit both patients and healthcare professionals.
Reducing our environmental footprint
Vermon continues to reduce the environmental impact of its industrial activities through ongoing optimization initiatives. Over the past few years, energy consumption per unit produced has decreased significantly, while water usage and waste management practices have been progressively improved. These results are supported by certified environmental management systems and targeted investments in more efficient technologies.
Tangible progress and measurable commitments
The EcoVadis Gold Medal reflects measurable progress across all four pillars, including:
- high training and awareness coverage for employees,
- strengthened ethical governance and cybersecurity practices,
- increasing supplier engagement in sustainability assessments,
- and continuous improvements in resource efficiency and environmental performance.
A collective and forward-looking achievement
Receiving the EcoVadis Gold Medal for the second year in a row is above all a collective achievement, driven by the daily commitment of Vermon’s teams. It illustrates the company’s determination to align industrial performance with responsibility, integrity and long-term value creation.
This recognition is not an end in itself, but a strong incentive to continue improving, innovating responsibly and contributing to a more sustainable future for our industry.
